Apostle Sadar Masih & Family

Apostle Sardar Masih, formerly from Pakistan, arrived with his wife and infant children for mission training in 2004 at William Carey School of World Mission. After the training was complete the next year, he obeyed the Lord’s calling for him to stay in the same community and work amongst the Hindu people that lived there and thus, Smyrna Global Outreach was founded on the 10th of January, 2005 in the rural community of New Glasgow, which lies just outside of Verulam, KZN. Apostle Sardar Masih and his family started from humble beginnings in a house with no doors or windows and no amenities.

This community would witness the start of the ministry and receive the message of Gospel, as door-to-door evangelism was the staple for the next 2 years.  The ministry grew enormously and the Lord continued to bless and use this missionary family in touching and transforming 1000’s of lives, not only in the community but also in surrounding areas for the next 10 years.

The family moved houses around the community 5 times in those 10 years trying to find the appropriate property to set up and start the mission school.

In 2015, Apostle Sardar Masih and his family had move out of the community and lived in Phoenix, KZN for 1 year. This move was clearly the hand of God as in December 2016; God miraculously raised someone who has donated property in Cato Ridge for the ministry to run and to open the mission school. SGO has now been operating out of Cato Ridge, KZN since December 2016.
