Our Projects
MINISTRY IN PAKISTAN
In 2014, SGOM spread its wings to Pakistan to help the slave children who are working for ruthless brick-maker bosses. These children are being used to work to pay off the debt of their parents who took loans from these brick-makers but were not educated enough to know that the lenders were adding extra digits when writing it down. This extra debt could not be paid off so after the parents are dead; the children have to work to pay off their parents’ debt by making bricks like the children of Israel did in Egypt.
These children don’t have access to education leading them to the same plight as their parents and keeping the cycle going meanwhile these cruel brick-makers get free labour. These children don’t get proper food to eat, don’t have proper clothes to wear and they are exposed to extremely unsanitary living conditions.
SGO is working to free these children from their slavery and to help them get an education. Donations are raised to provide the children with meals, clothes and school supplies (stationery, uniforms, etc.). Hopefully we can get the resources and funds to completely free the children to be able to live their lives and make something of themselves.
